THE ROLE
Chronus is looking for a talented and passionate Group Product Manager to continue driving innovation in the most advanced and innovative employee driven development platform on the market. This position is ideal for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual that can support Chronus by influencing and executing on the product strategy. The role is strategic in nature and reports directly to the Head of Product while managing a team of product managers and facilitates the product management process in conjunction with our engineering team. Typical activities include managing the Product Management team members, working with UX and Engineering; but also cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to deliver results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a keen understanding of the market, customer needs, and competitors
Immerse themselves in the user experience
Work closely with UX team to design and deliver an engaging experience
Manage release milestones while guiding the development process
Work with other key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive feedback loop
Develop go to market strategy to increase adoption and deliver value to key stakeholders
Determine a holistic view of the product and how it fits within the mentoring ecosystem
Coordinate product releases with other key stakeholders
Collaborate with key stakeholders to launch the product features
Represent the product and support the team during strategic meetings with key customers
Develop KPI dashboards to analyze performance metrics and increase product adoption
Be a player/coach for the Product Management team
Hire and train new product team members
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree required in CS or related field, MBA is a plus
8 years of individual contributor/direct Product Management experience
4 years in experience in B2B SaaS Product Management
2 years of experience leading product teams
Passion for product and mentoring that spans business, design, and technology
Must be a resourceful self-starter with the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment
Must be able to author and drive clear specifications and work with engineering to deliver
Ability to effectively prioritize, manage projects, and multi-task in a fast-paced, cross-functional organization (start-up experience in a fast-growing evangelical market is a plus)
Must be able to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and staff in a geographically dispersed environment
Good judgment in ambiguous environments, professionalism, and a high degree of integrity
Ability to focus and deliver on key strategic initiatives
Translate market needs into product specifications
A strong balance between forming an evangelical vision and getting into the weeds to deliver results
Proven track record of being able to execute and deliver high-quality products on time with high adoption. Ability to walk through these products and their adoption metrics
Strong leadership, listening, and cross-functional management skills
Eager and driven to grow with Chronus and remain flexible to absorb additional responsibilities
Data-driven with a strong analytical mindset
